Fur Elise by Ludwig Van Beethoven

Fur Elise is perhaps Beethoven's most popular piece. It wasn't published until the year 1867, a full 41 years after the composer died. An interesting fact is that the identity of Elise is unknown. There is some evidence that she could have been the German soprano singer Elisabeth Röckel.
